For CBTm Facilitators
The CBTm Program and the CBTm Facilitator Training were developed by a dedicated team of experts in cognitive behavioural therapy from psychiatry, psychology, and social work to improve access to mental health care and supporting the mental health community through the promotion of CBTm.
CBTm Facilitator Training
The CBTm Facilitator Training is for those familiar with CBT concepts interested in delivering the CBTm program. The CBTm Facilitator Training equips trainees with the knowledge and skills to deliver CBTm content effectively. All necessary materials for individual or group delivery of the CBTm program are provided, making it a reliable tool for improving mental health outcomes.
Becoming a CBTm Facilitator
We offer CBTm Facilitator trainings twice a year. Click here for more information.
As a valued first step you can experience the CBTm program firsthand before your facilitator training! The free online CBTm program enhances your understanding of CBTm concepts and strengthens your ability to support clients as a facilitator. Personal experience with CBTm skills improves your own well-being and provides a solid foundation for you as a future facilitator. Practice deepens understanding and makes guidance more impactful.
Ongoing CBTm Facilitator support
Once you attended the CBTm Facilitator Training we recommend you co-facilitate with a more experienced facilitator to build your skills and confidence with the CBTm materials. To find out more about observing and co-facilitating CBTm classes, please email the CBTm Team at cbtm@umanitoba.ca for more information!
