Cross-Cultural CBTm Training for Clinicians
The Cross-Cultural CBTm Workshop supports individuals working with diverse cultural groups to learn more about our culturally responsive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with Mindfulness (CBTm) program.
This training introduces the core principles of CBTm while focusing on how these approaches have been adapted to better support individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities.
Participants will gain practical knowledge about CBT, while integrating cultural awareness and culturally relevant examples.
This training can be taken as:
- Foundational preparation for delivering Cross-Cultural CBTm
- Professional development for clinicians working with diverse populations
- An introduction to CBT-based concepts
What You Will Learn
Participants will develop skills in:
- Core CBTm principles and strategies
- Integrating mindfulness within CBT frameworks
- Applying culturally responsive approaches to therapy
- Understanding cultural influences on mental health and help-seeking
- Strengthening therapeutic relationships across cultures

Next Step: CBTm Facilitator Training
Clinicians who wish to deliver CBTm groups or programs are encouraged to complete the CBTm Facilitator Training in addition to this course. The facilitator training provides hands-on instruction and guidance on delivering CBTm programming in clinical and community settings.
