Statement of Territorial Lands Acknowledgement & Commitment to Inclusivity

CBTm recognizes the traditional lands and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive environment for all people.

The CBTm Team lives, works, and plays on the Treaty Territories and original lands of First Nations, Inuit, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the treaties that were made on these territories. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward by collaborating in partnership with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in the spirit of truth and reconciliation.

We acknowledge discrimination and racism still exist – and caused harm – across Manitoba’s healthcare system today, affecting Indigenous, Black and Racialized individuals and communities, and we resolve to take real and impactful steps to disrupt and dismantle racism and discrimination in all forms across Manitoba’s health system. CBTm is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive environment that focuses on building a culture of inclusivity and respect for all people.
